ECS has announced the next addition to its LIVA line of mini PCs with the LIVA Z, designed to "simplify the complicated." It is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, making it an "easy to carry, lightweight, and power-saving computing solution." It is powered by a 14nm Intel Apollo Lake quad core CPU, up to 16GB of dual channel DDR3L memory, dual 2.5" SSD slots, and M.2 support. Users will benefit from hardware accelerated playback of the latest HEVC/H.265 and VP9 video codecs, making it a great choice for an HTPC.
