Google Plans to Add GPUs to Cloud Computing Services

Category: General News
Posted: 05:40PM

Google is planning to match other popular cloud computing services by making GPUs available to Google Compute Engine and Google Cloud Machine Learning users next year. Google will differentiate its offering from competitors by making the GPUs available on a per minute basis, rather than the hourly model used by others. Users will have access to the AMD FirePro S9300 x2, NVIDIA Tesla K80, and NVIDIA Tesla P100 GPUs, each of which offers advantages in different applications.
