2K and Fitbit Partner for NBA 2K17 Integration

There is a stereotype out there that gamers are not active people who just spend their entire day sitting in front of a computer screen or television. For those of you who defy that image, and for those of you who define it, you will soon have a reason to track your real-life activity. 2K and Fitbit have announced a partnership to bring activity tracking into NBA 2K17, supporting active gamers with a temporary in-game boost. When you reach 10,000 steps in a day, you will be given a temporary attribute boost to your MyPLAYER. The boost can be invested into categories like agility, layups, dunks, and more, lasting for your next five games that day.

This marks the first time Fitbit activity tracking has been incorporated into a video game through the company's Works with Fitbit program. The integration will be enabled for all NBA 2K17 players on November 25.
