Watch_Dogs 2 PC Delayed Two Weeks for PC Polish

For anyone who was looking forward to booting up Watch_Dogs 2 on their PC come November 15, it has been delayed for that platform by two weeks. According to Ubisoft, that extra two weeks is being spent polishing and optimizing the PC-specific enhancements we want. These include Ultra Textures and Extra Details options for those of us pushing 4K, uncapped framerate, SLI/Crossfire support at launch, and multi-monitor support. Beyond the graphics enhancements, PC players will also have multiple save file support to cover three playthroughs, FOV sliders, hardware mouse input (so no smoothing or acceleration), and other useful improvements.

In addition to this information, we also got the minimum and recommended specs for the game. All players will need to be running a 64-bit version of Windows 7 SP1 or newer, have 50 GB of storage, and if you want to play multiplayer you need a 256 Kbps or better connection. Now for everything else:

  • Processor: Intel Core i5 2400S @ 2.5 GHz or AMD FX 6120 @ 3.5 GHz
  • RAM: 6 GB
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (2 GB) or AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2 GB)

  • Processor: Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2 GHz or AMD FX 8120 @ 3.9 GHz
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB), GTX 970 (4 GB), GTX 1060 (3 GB) or AMD R9 290 (4 GB)

Hopefully that two weeks will be well spent. We will find out on November 29, the new PC release date for Watch_Dogs 2.
