BioWare Shows Off Mass Effect: Andromeda Running on the PS4 Pro

It's been quite a while since we've had anything from BioWare on its upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda, but during the PlayStation Meeting today, we finally got something. A new piece of content was shown running in 4K on the PS4 Pro, and man alive did it look great. In it, our character is exploring some kind of underground vault (Dragon Age's Deep Roads resemblance in parts), discovering hidden pathways as they explore. Visually, it's stunning to see ME:A looking this good already in pre-alpha gameplay footage, and thanks to the PS4 Pro, we're getting plenty of new tech, like high dynamic range lighting, HDR10 support (Dolby Vision on PC), and vastly superior character models. We get a look at not only the human main character, but the Asari teenager joining us in Andromeda. She has a sort of Mission Vao 2.0 vibe to her, which is perfectly fine by me. While exploring this underground cavern, things don't entirely go as planned, as you can see below. Seriously, just watch it so I don't have to spoil it all for you.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is slated to arrive early next year on PC, PlayStation 4, PS4 Pro, and Xbox One. We're still waiting on a solid date, as well as even more content, but fortunately N7 Day is fast approaching to "open the doors" for all of that, including a new trailer.
