Thermaltake Announces Max SATA HDD Rack Series

Thermaltake has announced its latest case accessory, the Max SATA HDD Rack Series, featuring four models of 5.25" bay mountable hard drive enclosures. The Max 2504 and 2506 occupy a single 5.25" bay and can hold four or six 2.5" hard drives, respectively. The Max 3503 and 3504 can hold three or four 2.5" or 3.5" hard drives, respectively, in the space of two 5.25" bays. All four units feature hot swappable drive trays, security locks, ventilation holes, and an active cooling fan.

Linking to their press release instead of their home page might make a bit more sense.

 

Looks like the 25xx series are for 2.5" drives and the 35xx are for 3.5"s. The 2506 is listed on their enthusiast site for $59.99 and the 3504 is listed for $79.99.

The other two (3503 and 2504) are slightly less costly but lose one and two slots, respectively.
