BioWare Teases Us With a New Look at Mass Effect: Andromeda

If you're an RPG fan, EA's E3 conference could have brought something either Mass Effect or Dragon Age-related at long last. Well, Dragon Age is still missing, but we did get something on Mass Effect: Andromeda. It was shoehorned between Madden and FIFA, but BioWare's Aaryn Flynn did take the stage to show off a new trailer for Andromeda. Flynn said how it's a new galaxy, a new place to explore, with the most freedom possible in any BioWare game to date. We get some looks at the new ship, Mako, and the cast, including a rather young Asari kid that might be more of a tech user than biotic powerhouse. Some parts do tend to follow what we were shown before on ME:A, but still, it's at least good to get something. Even if most of it is just in-engine footage and not actual gameplay. There is a nice focus at the end on one character, so that's good to see. I just wish we would have more, but it looks like we'll have to wait a little longer to see it.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is slated to arrive early next year on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
