Corsair has announced a new set of SSDs, the Neutron Series XTi, today and they feature a quad-core Phison controller and capacities from 240 GB to the impressive 1920 GB. The 240 GB, 480 GB, and 960 GB drives are available immediately while the gigantic 1920 GB drive will be coming in the near future.

By using the quad-core Phison controller, the Series XTi drivers can reach read speeds of 560 MB/s and sequential write speeds of 540 MB/s, as well as 4 KB random reading of 100,000 IOPS, and 4K random write of up to 90,000 IOPS. An expanded cache helps ensure consistent performance, while end-to-end data path protection prevents data from being corrupted between the controller and the NAND gate. SmartFlush and GuaranteedFlush technologies will also protect your data in the event of power loss.

The Neutron Series XTi 240 GB has an MSRP of $89.99, the 480 GB is at $159.99, and the 960 GB is at $329.99. The 1920 GB does not have a price yet. All of these drives come with a five-year warranty.
