G.SKILL has long been known for its memory products, covering RAM and SSDs, but it has expanded into the peripheral side of things. Now it has two new additions to its keyboard lineup with the RIPJAWS KM570 MX and KM770 RGB mechanical gaming keyboards. Both models feature Cherry MX switches in Red, Blue, and Brown styles to better fit whatever kind you prefer. The KM570 MX keyboard features a compact shape and single color LED backlighting, yet it has plenty packed into its frame. The lighting effects can be customized with seven different presets accessed by a key press, giving you control over brightness, speed, and even per-key lighting to only cover the ones you need. Macros can recorded with a key press, too, and then stored on the onboard memory for convenient access at any PC. The onboard memory also stores the lighting settings, so you don't have to worry about those getting lost, either. The KM570 MX also has media controls, dedicated volume buttons, N-key rollover, full anti-ghosting, 1000Hz polling rate, and the ability to lock the Windows key. If you haven't made the leap to mechanical keyboards yet, this just may be your ticket.

Moving over to the KM770 RGB, this model is a svelte version of the big brother KM780, bringing the brushed aluminim top and all the same key features into a more compact package. The footprint of the KM770 RGB is now more inline with other keyboards, while the mouse cable holder now fits underneath the keyboard thanks to some grooves that hold it in place and out of the way. A new LED lighting system gives the KM770 more vibrant colors than its bigger brother, while also bringing the RGB lighting to the MR//Mode keys, hotkeys, and media controls on the top row. Everything on the KM770 benefits from the RGB lighting now, with users able to customize it however they wish through the software, including the Reactive and Ripple lighting patterns. If you own the KM780 RGB keyboard, a new software update also brings the RGB lighting to the top row and the full customization featured on the KM770. As someone who uses an RGB mechanical keyboard, the ability to customize the keys and lighting patterns brings out the uniqueness of the user. It really helps make your keyboard yours.

Both the G.SKILL RIPJAWS KM570 MX and KM770 RGB mechanical gaming keyboards arrive in the third quarter of this year. No prices were mentioned for either model, but expect that and a solid release date before long.
