It does not seem all that long ago when SSDs meant you could have great speed, but limited capacity, but now we are seeing them come in fairly impressive sizes. Today Patriot has unveiled its 2 TB Ignite SSD. The company originally launched the Ignite SSD line in January of 2015 a pair of fast drives that could hold 480 GB or 960 GB. Later a 240 GB drive was added, and now we have this massive 2 TB offering that can hold whole game libraries, so you do not need to cull the games you do not play anymore, just to install the latest.

The new SSD features a Phison S10 controller, which allows it to achieve a sequential read speed of 560 MB/s, and 500 MB/s write speed. Like many other SSDs, it uses the 2.5 in form factor, and comes with a 3-year warranty. It will be available for purchase in the 4th quarter of this year.
