Kingston Announces KC400 SSD for Enterprise Environments

Kingston Digital, the flash memory affiliate of Kingston Technology Company, has officially announced the latest addition to its SSDNow family, the KC400 SSD. The latest product from Kingston offers consistent performance for a wealth of enterprise applications, allowing customers to experience the true value that the drive provides. The KC400 from Kingston makes use of an advanced Phison PS3110-S10 eight-channel controller and quad-core processor, and also includes technologies such as SmartECC and SmartRefresh, which assist in guarding data and protecting again read errors., respectively.

The Kingston KC400, which comes in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacities, features a 2.5-inch form factor, an average power consumption of just 0.335 watts, and a MTBF of 1 million hours. The KC400 includes a limited five-year warranty and free technology support from Kingston.
