CES 2016 is just about to get underway and Acer has already revealed several of the systems it plans to show off at the yearly trade show. A new all-in-one Chromebase utilizes the Chrome OS and Intel Core processors. These features are matched with a 23.8" 1080p display, up to 8GB of RAM, 802.11a/c Wi-Fi, and an HD webcam. The CB3-131 is a new Chromebook built with durability in mind with a "nano-imprinted" cover allowing for drops up to two feet and up to 130 pounds of downward pressure. It will use hardware similar to other Chromebooks and starts at $179.99. The Iconia 8 tablet has an 8" screen powered by Android 5.1 and is "designed to be family friendly, including a Kids Center app that provides parental controls, child-appropriate content, and a simplified UI designed for younger users," at a cost of $99.99. The company is also planning updates to its Aspire Switch, Aspire Nitro V, and TravelMate Windows laptops.
