While gamers have been expecting a patch from Rocksteady Studios that improves the game itself, AMD released a new Catalyst beta driver just a few days ago that brought along some much needed performance and quality/stability improvements for Batman: Arkham Knight. Now, thanks to a brief appearance made by the beta version of the upcoming game patch, details surrounding the upcoming update to Batman: Arkham Knight are now available. The next major patch for the game will bring along a variety of fixes, such as reduced frame rate hitches, improved performance across all GPUs, optimized system memory and VRAM utilization, and low resolution texture bug fixes. The Batman: Arkham Knight patch will also add in a wealth of in-game settings to include the ability to limit the game’s FPS to 30, 60, or 90, high texture resolution selection, texture filtering options, Adaptive V-Sync capabilities, a VRAM usage meter, mouse sensitivity and mouse smoothing controls, and motion blur, chromatic aberration, and film grain toggles.

Rocksteady Studios has not provided any release date for the upcoming patch for Batman: Arkham Knight, but gamers should expect to see it available for download in the coming weeks.
