AMD has definitely made a splash in the GPU market with the release of its latest graphics cards, causing some consumers to reconsider their purchase of an NVIDIA product altogether. While NVIDIA has appropriately responded to this by reducing the price of the GeForce GTX 980 from $549 to $499, thereby making it more competitive against the Radeon R9 390X, it looks like add-in-board partners are further reducing the price of high-end Maxwell cards to increase sales. Over the coming weeks, gamers and computer enthusiasts should expect the GeForce GTX 980 to come down to $479.99 and the GTX 980 Ti to feature a new price of $629. Furthermore, overclocked GTX 980 Ti models are expected to come down to the new price of $679.

All of the aforementioned video cards come bundled with Batman: Arkham Knight, making the price reductions that are coming in the near future even a better deal for those itching to buy one of the latest GPUs that NVIDIA offers.
