Intel Pushes Back Launch of Kaby Lake Processors

Category: CPU's
Posted: 04:32PM

Intel is planning to push back the release of its 14nm Kaby Lake processors from early 2016 to September 2016 due to the delays associated with the upcoming Skylake series of processors. Kaby Lake has been inserted as a "buffer" between Skylake and the 10nm Cannonlake processors, "which were originally planned to directly succeed Skylake in 2016." Other details about the chips are non-existent to sparse at best and we will have to wait until release gets closer to hear more.
