Corsair, the most awarded PC power supply brand in the world according to reviews featured on TechPowerUp and RealHardTechX, has officially announced the HX1200i, the latest addition to its HXi series of power supply units that the company revealed last June. The 1200 watt includes virtually all of the same features found on the other models within the HXi series, such as 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency, fully modular cables, Japanese electrolytic capacitors, Corsair Link support, and a 140mm fluid dynamic bearing fan. The main difference with the HX1200i is its power rating, with the power supply unit able to power demanding three and four card NVIDIA SLI or AMD CrossFire multi-GPU systems.

The Corsair HX1200i comes with a seven-year warranty, features an MSRP of $269.99, and will be available to purchase from various retailers sometime next month.
