As we all know, power supplies are critical to the healthy operation of our computers, but how many of us monitor their performance? For those that do and for those that are interested in doing so, Thermaltake may have some products for you as it is launching the world's first Internet of Things PSUs and associated software. The DPS G App 2.0 allows the user to monitor the power being used by the PC, the graphics card(s), and the CPU while the system is in use. It can also calculate electricity cost, record personal usage patterns, and adjust the power supply's fan speed. If you want to share the usage information with your friends, DPS G App 2.0 allows you to do that too.

Naturally you need to be using a PSU that supports this, and that would be the Toughpower DPS G Power series. The power supplies are available now and are available at 450 W, 550 W, 650 W, 750 W, 850 W, and 1080 W capacities, and all with 80 Plus Gold certification.
