CES kicks off tomorrow, but you can bet that plenty of companies are getting their products announced today. Patriot Memory has a new product it is showing off called the EP PRO-II SDXC memory card, which is a UHS-II card for devices in need of speed. The Patriot EP PRO-II SDXC card is perfect for devices capable of taking high-definition (HD) and ultra high-definition (UHD) pictures and/or videos, with between 16 and 64GB of storage to hold it all. It features read speeds of 280MB/s and write speeds of 250MB/s, so there should be no dropoff in performance when you're shooting at those UHD resolutions. Patriot designed the EP PRO-II to meet the new SD 4.0 specifications on all the latest devices, but is backwards compatible with SD 3.0 and 2.0 for those still using older hardware.

The Patriot EP PRO-II SDXC card will be available in the first quarter of this year, with prices ranging between $119.99 and $199.99 depending on capacity.
