Patriot, a leading manufacturer of computer memory, USB storage, flash memory, SSDs, and mobile accessories, has introduced its latest addition to its Viper line of extreme performance memory, the Viper 4. The Viper 4 series is built specifically for the latest Intel X99 DDR4 platform and Haswell-E processor and will be offered in quad channel kits of 16GB and 32GB, running at speeds ranging from 2400MHz to 3000MHz and starting at 1.2 to 1.35 volts. The latest addition to the Viper series memory comes with a custom heat shield and is compatible with XMP 2.0. According to Les Henry, the Vice President of Engineering at Patriot, "The new Viper 4 line benchmarks are crushing the older DDR3 scores from just about every hardware benchmark: memory bandwidth, SSD and USB just to name a few."

The Viper 4 series memory from Patriot, which features an MSRP of $250 to $700 and comes with a lifetime warranty, will be available to purchase in the first quarter of this year at select retailers and online storefronts such as Fry’s Electronics, Newegg, and Amazon.
