Patriot Reenters the SSD Market with Torch Series

Category: Storage / Hard Drives
Posted: 06:07PM

Although Patriot Memory was one of the early pioneers of the SSD market, the memory manufacturer has failed to provide consumers with any of its own SSDs for quite some time. Patriot is apparently looking to change that by reentering the SSD market, thanks to its new Torch series. The latest SSD series from Patriot comes with 16nm Synchronous NAND and features sequential read speeds of 555MB per second and sequential write speeds of 535MB per second.  The Patriot Torch SSD also includes intelligent advanced wear-leveling in order to provide extended reliability.

The latest SSD from Patriot is only available in capacities of 120 and 240GB, comes with a three-year warranty, and can be purchased from retailers such as Amazon.
