While some emails do contain links for recipients to unsubscribe from future communications, they are sometimes littered throughout text and can be difficult to find. Google has decided to remedy any frustration and confusion involved with finding text that provides the option to unsubscribe by added a simple link by the senders email address. Gmail users will now notice this new link, which can be found within Promotions, Social, and Forums messages, which allows for one-click access to unsubscribe from future communications. Google notes that by adding this link, mail is not only less likely to be flagged as spam but the task of unsubscribing is easier than ever.
