LinkedIn Acquires Bizo
LinkedIn has announced that it has officially acquired Bizo, a company that provides precise and measurable business-to-business display and social advertising programs to small, medium, and large businesses. According to David Thacker, the Product Vice President at LinkedIn, Bizo has proved itself as a comprehensive business-to-business marketing platform and the company has been a part of the LinkedIn API Partner Program for quite a while. With the respective missions of both companies being highly aligned, according to Russell Glass, the Chief Executive Officer of Bizo, it makes sense that LinkedIn is welcoming the Bizo staff to its team.
Thacker also made it evident that the company plans to integrate the Media Solutions and Multi-Channel Nurturing products offered by Bizo into its own portfolio, but that it does not plan to incorporate its Data Solutions business.
