Oculus VR to Host Developer Event
The company behind the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset has announced Oculus Connect, a two day game development conference, the first in what could be a long line of events. The conference will take place September 19-20 at the Loews Hotel in Los Angeles, California with the intention of bringing together "engineers, designers, and creatives from around the world to share and collaborate in the interest of creating the best virtual reality experiences possible." A number of workshops will be held to give attendees the first look at upcoming developments from the company and several keynotes will be given by company officers including CTO John Carmack. Signups will be available starting July 10 with confirmations distributed the following week.
