First-Person Shooter Space Hulk: Deathwing Gets a Summer Trailer
Publisher Focus Home Interactive has released a Summer Trailer for Space Hulk: Deathwing, being developed by Streum On Studio, the studio behind cyberpunk FPS-RPG hybrid E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy. Space Hulk: Deathwing is a first-person shooter set in Game Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 universe and built using Unreal Engine 4. Players will battle against Genestealers "within the claustrophobic [...] entrails of a Space Hulk" as a Deathwing Librarian (a Space Marine), alongside a squad of Deathwing Terminators. It's unclear if there will be squad controls or if the Terminators are simply autonomous. "Your skills and performance in battle grant you Fervor Points, to spend on 4 skill trees allowing you to improve your abilities, unlock new powers, access powerful relics and devastating new weapons."
While the Summer Trailer doesn't show gameplay, it should be noted that it's completely in-engine...and it looks sick!
Space Hulk: Deathwing is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One sometime in 2015.
