This latest version provides enhanced support for Internet browsers used within Windows and Mac environments, as well as a mobile application that allows users to view their surveillance feeds from any location. Also included are many new features, such as Intelligent Video Analytics playback, user defined cameras via Generic RTSP, camera patrol functions, and new compatible camera models from Grandstream, TRENDnet and Lilin.

Using Surveillance Center 2.1 beta, ASUSTOR 2 and 3 series NAS devices are able to support up to eight camera channels while ASUSTOR 6 series NAS devices can support up to 12.
