ADATA has announced that a trio of new SSDs are being added to its product line. The Premier Pro SP900 M.2 2242 and 2280 are designed for Ultrabooks and desktop PCs compatible with the Intel M.2 standard. The smaller form factor doesn't limit the drives to a smaller amount of storage as they are available in capacities of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The drives are powered by an LSI SF-2281 controller capable of read and write speeds of 550MB/s and 530MB/s, respectively. The Premier Pro SP910 uses the Marvell 88SS9187 controller and has capacities of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The SP910 can reach read and write speeds up to 560MB/s and 460MB/s, respectively, and can execute 91,000 read and 77,000 write IOPS. These characteristics make the SP910 a smart choice for users that do a lot of multitasking.
