Gauntlet's E3 Trailer Highlights the Relics System
Back in March, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE) announced that a reboot of the 1985 co-op, hack-and-slash classic Gauntlet would be coming exclusively to Steam. In advance of E3, WBIE has released a new trailer that highlights one of the unique features of the game, the Relics system. In lieu of leveling, the Relics system is how players acquire deadly new abilities and ancient powers.
Gauntlet is arriving September 3, 2014, on Steam for $19.99, with a four-pack available for $59.99. Pre-ordering nets you two in-game items (Azkog the Demon Slayer Weapon and Reaper's Visage Helm) and the new Gauntlet: Darkness Calls digital comic. The game will be playable with four-player co-op at E3 this year within the WBIE Booth (South Hall, #2023).
