Batmobile Battle Mode Revealed as Batman: Arkham Knight Pushed Back to 2015
The inevitable has occurred: Batman: Arkham Knight will not meet its originally announced release date of October 14, 2014, instead being pushed back to an undisclosed date in 2015. While no reason for the delay was stated, with all the other AAA games planned to drop in October, the delay is probably a good thing from both a consumer and business perspective. If there's an additional silver lining, it's that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment decided to release a new trailer that shows off the Batmobile's "Battle Mode", which transforms the Batmobile into a fully weaponized beast:
Aside from the Battle Mode reveal, the video also features rain, which is also shown in three of the four new screenshots published today (see below). Hopefully this means the game will feature a dynamic weather system!
Batman: Arkham Knight is set to release in 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Pre-ordering grants you the ability to play as the lovely Harley Quinn, though most likely only in Challenge Maps.
