ASUSTOR Launches AS-204RS NAS Server

ASUSTOR, a leading provider of network attached storage solutions, has just announced the launch of its economical rack mount AS-204RS NAS server. The new offering by ASUSTOR comes with hardware that matches its target market of value oriented consumers. The AS-204RS NAS server features an Intel Atom 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of DDR3 RAM, four USB 3.0 SuperSpeed ports, and one HDMI 1.4a port. The rack mountable server is also VMware, Citrix, and Hyper-V ready, supports hard disk capacities of up to 24TB spread across all four bays, hard disk hot-swapping, and volume types such as single disk, JBOD, RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 6, and RAID 10. ASUSTOR is also providing its ADM 2.1 operating system for its AS-204RS NAS server, which features technologies such as VPN connections, cross-platform file sharing, and AES-256 bit encryption for shared folders.
