Portal and Half-Life 2 Arrive on NVIDIA SHIELD

While you could have always used GameStream to play Portal and Half-Life 2 on the NVIDIA SHIELD, now both critically acclaimed titles are available natively from Google Play and the TegraZone, designed specifically to work with the device. If you've never played either game, you owe it to yourself to do so. Portal is simply brilliant, while Half-Life 2 is my favorite game of all-time.

The NVIDIA SHIELD is currently on sale for a discounted price of $199, making it the perfect time to grab one. The price was originally supposed to go back up to its usual $249 at the end of April, but it looks like NVIDIA has kept the discount around in honor of these two huge releases.

This is so weird, I was literally going to Google if a tablet could play Half-Life 2.

Haha, nice. Although it's optimized for SHIELD, as long as your tablet has a Tegra, I think it's supported.
