Although Hulu recently has restricted users of major VPN services from accessing its content, the company has just revealed that it will be offering advertisement supported full episodes of television shows for free to users of the service. The announcement breaks away from the traditional model that Hulu has been ran on for some time, which requires users of the service to subscribe to Hulu Plus in order to access full episodes of television shows on mobile devices. While Hulu has concrete plans to make this happen in the summer of this year, it currently has not revealed which content will be available for free to users of the service. Depending on the negotiations that take place between Hulu and television networks, mobile users could either see a plethora of available content or very little to choose from.

Hulu also revealed with this announcement that it is planning to roll out a new version of its iPhone application for Hulu Plus sometime in the near future.
