Sony Urges Customers to Stop Using VAIO Fit 11A

Due to this issue, Sony is requesting that owners of the VAIO Fit 11A, with a build date of February of this year, stop using the machine and discontinue charging it. A program that is set to be released in two weeks is currently being worked on by Sony that will provide free repairs or replacements of the affected machines, with the possibility of a refund of the purchase price.
According to Sony, the VAIO Fit 11A model that is affected by the overheating internal battery issue is SVF11N1XXXX.
