Back in January, Sega officially announced that Total War developer Creative Assembly was developing a new game, entitled Alien: Isolation. Unlike Sega's Aliens: Colonial Marines, which was, let's just say, not very well received, Alien: Isolation is billed as a true survival horror experience – this is Ridley Scott's Alien through and through.
Part of the allure is obviously the alien itself. The game features a single, unkillable Xenomorph that is programmed to track you down via sight, smell, and sound. Today, Sega and Creative Assembly released a new Developer Diary video entitled "Creating The Alien," to give us some insight into the alien's development and design:
In addition, if you have any Xenomorph-related questions, you can email community@alienisolation with the subject "PRIORITY ONE: Creating the Alien" by 11:59PM GMT, on March 23, 2014. The best questions will be answered by studio leads in a future podcast.
Alien: Isolation will be arriving on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in late 2014.
