Google has announced that its Drive service now features reduced rates for various amounts of storage, making the online storage service even more affordable than before. Previously, users of Google Drive received 15GB of free online storage and could purchase 100GB of online storage for $4.99 per month and 1TB for $49.99 per month. Users can now purchase the same online storage amounts with Google Drive for even cheaper, with 100GB costing $1.99 per month and 1TB costing $9.99 per month. The same 15GB of free space for Google Drive users is still offered, and a new 10TB and up tier is now available, which starts at $99.99 per month.

Potential Google Drive customers can sign up for the newly priced plans under the settings menu of the service. Users who already pay for Google Drive storage will be automatically moved to a better plan at no additional cost.
