Ting, which is a somewhat new mobile virtual network operator that uses the Sprint network to offer customers low cost pay for what you use plans, has announced that it now supports Sprint compatible iPhone 5’s. The news comes a few months after Ting revealed support for the iPhone 4 and 4S. Current and potential Ting customers who own an iPhone 5 that is Sprint compatible can go through the proper steps on the Ting website in order to bring their device over.

While the iPhone 5 is now supported, current and potential customers of Ting are curious about iPhone 5c and 5s support. Ting has announced that the iPhone 5c and 5s should be available to activate on Ting during September of this year, due to Sprint keeping certain devices only available to its direct customers for one year from initial release.
