Watch Dogs Minimum Specs Announced; Requires Quad-Core CPU, DirectX 11 GPU, and 6GB RAM
Now that we know the launch date for the highly anticipated Watch Dogs (May 27), it stands to reason that PC gamers would like to know the system requirements as well. While the Uplay store page may not list the requirements for Watch Dogs just yet, creative director Jonathan Morin happened to reveal the minimum specifications on Twitter last week:

For all those that wondered if the console versions would hold back the PC version, if the minimum specs are anything to go by, you shouldn't be worried – this is clearly a high-end game. In fact, looking at the minimum specs, it's a little scary to think what the recommended specs will wind up being. The PC version of Watch Dogs may be this generation's Crysis; pushing the boundaries of what our system's are capable of.
In addition to tweeting out the minimum specs, Morin also addressed concern over the seemingly "worse" graphics shown in the recent game trailer compared to what we originally saw at E3 2012:

For those that don't want to take Morin at his word, he did confirm that we will see PC footage again prior to release:

I personally saw Watch Dogs, running on an NVIDIA-powered machine back in October, and was blown away. It certainly looked way better than the recent trailer and I highly doubt the game has regressed since then. But I'm not asking you to take my word for it – we should hopefully have evidence of what the game currently looks like on PC soon.
