Yahoo has begun the process of eliminating third party logins from its website and services, requiring users to have and utilize a Yahoo ID in order to access various services owned and operated by the company. Yahoo announced that to access Yahoo Sports Tourney Pick'Em up for example, users have to use their Yahoo login and cannot access the service using Facebook or Google credentials. The same Yahoo ID focus will be implemented soon with other services offered by Yahoo, including Flickr and Fantasy Sports. Yahoo states that by only allowing a Yahoo login to access various services owned by the company, it is able to provide a more personalized experience for users.
