Skype has announced that Skype for Outlook.com, which was rolled out to select markets last year, is now available worldwide. The video chatting service allows Outlook.com users to voice and video chat their contacts, along with the usual instant messaging function. Skype for Outlook.com does require a plugin in order to work properly, but with the latest version supporting PC users, along with Mac users that utilize the Safari web browser, compatibility should not be an issue. Outlook.com users that make use of the web version of Skype can even chat with their contacts in high-definition, provided that both parties have compatible messaging clients, high definition displays, webcams, and broadband Internet.
