ADATA Announces SSD Firmware Update

ADATA has announced the availability of a firmware update for solid state drives based on the LSI SandForce 2200 SSD controller. ADATA SSD models that will be impacted by the update include SX910, SX900, SP900, SP800, S511, S510, and S396. Firmware version 5.2.5 "optimizes TRIM completion behavior and SATA stability, and improves disk recovery in instances of unsafe or improper shutdown." Users should navigate over to the ADATA website and select their SSD from the dropdown to obtain the update.
