BioWare is Giving One Lucky Fan the Chance to Voice a Dragon Age: Inquisition Character
BioWare has really gone out of its way to support and embrace the Dragon Age community over the past month. First it started with the release of highly detailed character kits (Morrigan, Cassandra, and Varric) to make life easier for artists and cosplayers. Now for something equally unique - the opportunity to voice a character in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
BioWare has provided provided two scripts on its blog for prospective voice actors to choose from, and entering is as simple as recording your performance, uploading it to YouTube, and emailing the link to takeyourplace@BioWare.com. Entries are due by 12:01 A.M. PST on March 24, 2014, with the winner chosen after the judging process ends on April 14, 2014.
To be eligible to enter, you must be a legal resident of "Australia, Canada (excluding Quebec), New Zealand, United Kingdom and the United Stated (including the District of Colombia) who [is] at least as old as the minimum age of majority in the jurisdiction from which [you] enter the Contest." The winner will be flown to one of BioWare's recording studios (Los Angeles, Edmonton, or London) to have his or her voice recorded in a professional recording booth.
This is a rather unique opportunity for any Dragon Age fan, so start practicing. Watch Lead Community Manager Jessica Merizan explain the contest in the video below:
