In a minor tweak to the Google search engine, a feature has been added that allows users to view more content about a specific webpage before actually clicking on a link. Google has added the ability to click on the name next to the Internet link to view more information about the site. This new feature is only available on searches performed from a desktop client. Bart Niechwiej, Software Engineer at Google, noted that this type of information will only be available on well-known sites when there is enough information to display, or when it may prove useful. The information shown is based off of the interconnected understanding of specificities that are existent in the world, known more commonly as the Knowledge Graph.
