Users across multiple devices that run iOS 7 have been reporting random reboots with the inability to manually power their devices back on, a problem that has been occurring since iOS 7 was initially released. Once thought to be an issue with the battery level of the devices, the problem occurs when the home screen crashes. The issue has been reported by users on many different community forums to include the Apple forums. Apple has confirmed this issue recently and will soon release an update to iOS 7 that will fix the sudden and random reboots. An Apple spokeswoman stated that the company has a fix in a software update that is soon to be released, and will fix the issue of a bug that occasionally causes the home screen to crash.

While Apple is planning on fixing the bug soon with the confirmed update, no release timeframe has been announced.
