Security software company SplashData has released its yearly study of the most commonly used passwords, and "password" was unseated by "123456." The list features a number of new entries that can be attributed to a large security breach of Adobe software with passwords like "adobe123" and "photoshop" entering the list. The previous most common password fell just one spot to second place. SplashData CEO Morgan Slain said, "Another interesting aspect of this year's list is that more short numerical passwords showed up even though websites are starting to enforce stronger password policies." Remember to use strong passwords to help keep your accounts secure.
