Aimed at businesses rather than consumers, Microsoft has released a PDF document that contains 17 pages on various aspects of the Windows 8.1 Operating System. While the Windows 8.1 Power User Guide for Business does not go in depth with any one feature found within Windows 8.1, it does provide adequate information that covers the majority of what users will routinely access. Some topics within the guide include the desktop itself, file explorer, Internet Explorer 11, mobility center, SkyDrive, and the taskbar. Information is also provided on how to navigate through Windows 8.1 by either using a keyboard, mouse, or touch based controls.
It is worth noting that the guide focuses primarily on the desktop and core Windows applications, leaving out the Windows Modern user interface environment almost entirely.
