Announced by Sprint, the LG G Flex curved smartphone will be coming to the mobile carrier beginning next month. Taking advantage of the new Sprint Spark network rollout, the LG G Flex will be one of the few smartphones that can currently support the tri-band network. LG has incorporated into the G Flex a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of integrated storage, a 13 megapixel rear camera, and a 2.1 megapixel front camera. Although the screen is large for a smartphone, coming in at 6-inches, LG is claiming that the LG G Flex is able to offer up to 29 hours of talk time in-between charges with the 3500 mAh battery. Android KitKat is not included with the device however, as it runs Android 4.2.2.

The LG G Flex is priced at $299.99 with a new two-year service agreement and is currently available for preorder, shipping with a Quickwindow Folio Case as a promotional offer. For customers looking to purchase the device once it retails, the LG G Flex will be available from Internet sources on January 31, 2014, and through Sprint retail stores on February 7, 2014.
