With all of the Steam Machines announced at CES with various prices and specs, it can be helpful to know how the different configurations will stack up in terms of real performance. Without the ability to test the machines directly, the folks over at Futuremark decided to do the next-best thing by combing their database of 3DMark scores for computers with similar specs. The data they gathered has since been collected and neatly displayed on their website, where it will be updated as appropriate. The data also includes the announced prices for some of the Steam Machines, to give you a sense of value.

Naturally as the Steam Machines are not released yet and SteamOS is based on Linux, the numbers Futuremark is giving us may not be completely accurate. Until we start getting the machines though, this is the best we can get.
