Kingston is giving attendees of CES 2014 plenty to keep themselves busy between product demonstrations and a pair of competitions. In addition to the personal security USB flash drive announced earlier today, Kingston has a number of other memory and peripheral products on hand. Upcoming solutions using the SSDNow drive will be shown, HyperX memory is being used to overclock small form factor PCs from Intel, Gigabyte, and more, and the memory is also being used to process 4K video from Battlefield 4 and GoPro HERO3+ Black Edition cameras. Also available will be previews of the Cloud headset and Fury memory line.

A pair of events sponsored by Kingston will also see a conclusion during CES with both the HyperX OC Takeover (HOT) and HyperX Dota 2 League (D2L) tournament hosting finals this week. Online qualifiers for HOT began in October through HWBOT and five finalists from China, Poland, South Africa, and the United States will compete for the $10,000 first prize and a $1,000 bonus for any world records set during the competition. The overclockers will compete in Super PI, the Intel XTU benchmark, and highest memory frequency using components from Kingston and partners ASUS, Cooler Master, and Intel. The D2L began in October with 16 teams split into Eastern and Western divisions fighting for a spot in the finals with LGD Gaming and Vici Gaming earning spots from China, and Fnatic and The Alliance representing Europe. The first day of the finals are currently underway with games available for viewing through Twitch TV or the in game spectator client with games cast in English by Ayesee and Merlini. The total prize pool for the D2L is $50,000.
