In the market for a new power supply to drive four top-of-the-line GPUs and more? You are in luck as Corsair has just announced the AX1500i Digital ATX PSU with its 1500 W output and 80 PLUS Titanium efficiency rating.
The new power supply builds on the AX1200i PSU's success, which was the world's first digital ATX power supply. By using DSP-controlled circuitry, streamlined component layout and count the AX1500i is able to achieve 94% energy efficiency at 50% at 115V, which meets the current draft for the 80 PLUS Titanium ranking. It is so efficient that the 140 mm fan will remain in Silent Zero RPM mode until 450 W or more are being drawn. Using Corsair Link you can also monitor and manually control fan speed.
The AX1500i will be available in the second quarter of this year with a suggested price of $449.99. It will come with eight PCIe cables to connect four GPUs and is backed by a seven-year warranty.
