Corsair Announces New Raptor Peripherals at CES
Following the announcement of the Vengeance K70 keyboard with MX RBG switches, Corsair has announced the Raptor K40 gaming keyboard. Unlike the K70, it uses membrane keys but does feature RGB backlighting so gamers can customize their keyboard with a selection of 16.8 million colors. The K40 also has six programmable keys and three banks of commands, for a total of 18 programmable functions that can be stored on the keyboard's internal memory.
To go along with the new keyboard, Corsair has announced the Raptor M45 gaming mouse. It uses the same chassis as the M60 and M65 gaming mice as well as a Pixart PMW3310 5000 DPI optical sensor. There are also seven programmable buttons, DPI switches, and a high-mass scroll wheel.
The Raptor K40 will have a suggested price of $79.99 and the Raptor M45 will have a suggested price of $59.99, when both become available later this month.
