First Look at Turtle Rock's Evolve in February 2014 Game Informer
Back in January of last year, 2K Games paid nearly $11 million during THQ's auction for an IP called Evolve. A year later, the publisher is finally ready to give the world a sneak peek at the game it's hired Turtle Rock Studios to develop – the indie developer best known for the Left 4 Dead series. Game Informer just unveiled its February cover to be that of Evolve, which will be accompanied by a 12-page look at the game. According to the unveil, Evolve "pits a four-player crew of alien hunters against a separate player-controlled monster that grows larger and more powerful over the course of matches." The article will provide details on Game Informer's "exclusive hands-on time with the game's four-versus-one hunt mode."
The cover image is certainly quite intriguing and Turtle Rock has proven itself to be very adept at creating great multiplayer experiences that meld cooperative and competitive multiplayer in unique ways. Evolve is set to release this Fall for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
